Recreational Activities

We have planned a number of incredible group activities for members and their families... ranging from snorkeling and scuba to boat races, cave exploring and touring the island's history.  CLICK HERE to see the details for recreational opportunities and to register.

Refund Policy

The longstanding Club policy for refunds is as follows:

  • Meeting registration (members, family members and guests) -- Full refund will be given if the Club office is notified of the cancellation no later than the Wednesday before the meeting starts.
  • Recreational Activities
    • There is no refund for a "no show."
    • We will give a refund for cancellations in advance of the event if the vendor does not charge us for the cancellation or if we are able to reassign your place to another participant.  Unfortunately, if the Club is charged by the vendor for your spot or another participate does not fill your place, we will be unable to offer a refund.
  • All refunds will be made using the same form of payment as the original registration.

Spouse Book Club

The selection for this year's Spouse Book Club is The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, by Rebecca Skloot.  CLICK HERE to view the Amazon listing.  Jean Tsai (Mark Rosenblatt's spouse) will be leading the discussion.

Here's what the Amazon review had to say:

Her name was Henrietta Lacks, but scientists know her as HeLa. She was a poor black tobacco farmer whose cells—taken without her knowledge in 1951—became one of the most important tools in medicine, vital for developing the polio vaccine, cloning, gene mapping, and more. Henrietta's cells have been bought and sold by the billions, yet she remains virtually unknown, and her family can't afford health insurance. This phenomenal New York Times bestseller tells a riveting story of the collision between ethics, race, and medicine; of scientific discovery and faith healing; and of a daughter consumed with questions about the mother she never knew.
