General Information


Housing Information


The AESC has arranged for a block of rooms at the Montage Resort for the dates of our conference.  Pricing is at a substantial discount from regular rates.

Reservation methods

Our room block is now closed.  If you have any changes to your reservation, please contact Kathy Paul at the AESC office as soon as possible.  AFTER MONDAY, JULY 9, YOU WILL BE FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ENTIRE RESERVATION.  The hotel has different cancellation policies for groups than for individual guests!

The hotel only has valet parking (no self-park).  It is $29 per day.


Meeting Registration


Registration for the conference is now available!  

There are two ONLINE registration forms -- one for the conference itself and a second one for the recreational events

     CONFERENCE REGISTRATION -- members, guests and kids for the general meeting

Conference Registration Fees -- includes all group meals and receptions

  • AESC Member -- $875
  • Adult guests (spouses, significant others, guests, family members over 18 years of age) -- $775
  • Teenagers (age 13 - 17) -- $375
  • Younger kids (age 5 - 12) -- $120
  • Toddlers/infants (<5 years) -- Free

NOTE:  At the last business meeting, Club members approved a "partial meeting" registration fee at a 25% discount.  It allows for a "first half" or a "second half" registration and is available for Emeritus Members only"Part 1" will be from Tuesday through the Thursday banquet (and excludes attendance on Friday and Saturday). "Part 2" is from Thursday through Saturday's Baptismo Emeritus (and excludes Tuesday and Wednesday). Emeriti who with to take advantage of this discount must use the paper registration form.

Recreational Activities

We are planning a number of organized group activities which will require an additional registration to cover the costs.  Also, we have developed a list of other things you can do on your own or with other Club members as a "do it yourself" excursion.

The success of the AESC and its meetings are a direct result of the participation of the members.  Our sessions are very interactive; discussion, challenges to thinking and questions are strongly encouraged.  Be thinking about lectures, interesting cases, or mini-symposiums you would like to present!

Other Useful Information and References


Deer Valley is at a high elevation

The Montage Resort in Deer Valley is at an elevation of 8,300 feet above sea level.  While most people adjust to the environment at this altitude without any problems, you may notice shortness of breath or other more significant symptoms.  By taking appropriate precautions, we're confident you will have an enjoyable visit to the mountains of the Wasatch Range.

Here is a source for small canisters of O2 for very reasonable prices...  Probably would be enough to get you over the "hump" until your body acclimates to the altitude.  CLICK HERE (Amazon website)
